Vintage BSR Accuglide Turntable
$500.00
North of CR466
Unique turntable allows you to stack several albums which slowly and safely descend onto the platter. Remote control allows you to pause (cue), go to next album, program tracks (skip a song or more), stop, and adjust volume. It has a two-speed belt drive (33 and 45 rpm). Purchased in 1979 and works like new. The plastic dust cover bit the dust decades ago but I’m including a good quality fabric dust cover in its place. Impress your audiophile friends with this one-of-a-kind turntable. Here is a link to a video that shows how the album descends (the video shows another model made by BSR but with the same functionality):
I believe this was the first computerized, programmable turntable on the market. You simply cannot find these turntables anymore, especially one that still works.
