I’ve owned this car since 2012, when I lived in NJ. Since I’ve owned it, it has always been garage stored. LS1 5.7 V8 rated at 305 HP. Automatic. Roughly 83,000 miles.
Wheels are the optional 17 inch Camaro SS wheels. Other than the grill, the SLP air lid, the exhaust, and the radio, it is stock. Other than oil changes, almost all work done by GM dealership in NJ, and since moving here in 2021, George Nahas Chevrolet. I have all the the maintenance records from them, and most from my time in NJ. Most recently front shocks replaced (Rears done in 2020), power steering pump, and water pump replaced. They were the original parts.
Ceramic coat completed last year by Total Recon in Leesburg. First picture is when it left the shop.
Shortcomings – The top is original, with some repairs. Will need to be replaced at some point. There is a service engine light. It has to do with an emission control air pump. I was told it will cost $1000 to fix. It does not affect the drivability of the vehicle so I have chosen not to fix it. Florida doesn’t check emission equipment.
This has been a very reliable vehicle and a joy to drive. Just thinking it might be time to pick up something else. If you are looking to get a well-maintained vehicle that was one of the last of the 4th generation of the Camaro/Firebird line, this is it.
VIN is 2G1FP32G112120304 if you care to run Carfax.
